In addition to our Sunday morning and evening services—which are important staples in the life of our church—please join us for any number of gatherings and studies that happen throughout the year and enable us to connect with one another.
1. Studies
God has gifted our church with a number of godly men and women who are regularly leading others in weekly studies through books of the Bible and other good Christian books on various topics. These include but are not limited to:
Equipping Hour | 9:15am Sundays
This is an hour of instruction on topics relevant to our growth and offer us an opportunity to consider essential doctrines of our faith that spur us on to love and good deeds.
Bible Time | 6:30am Tuesdays & Thursdays
We plan to study verse-by-verse through various books of the Bible in the DRBC Main Hall.
Women’s Bible Study | 10am Wednesdays
Our sisters gather for a regular study through books of the Bible.
Bible Bootcamp
Intensive verse-by-verse studies through books of the Bible. Open to all members or non-members who would like to attend. Typically these are held twice a year on Friday night 6-9 and Saturday morning.
2. Gatherings
These are church-wide events, open to visitors and non-Christians. Our aim is for people to be able to come – and even invite friends and family – to have space to get to know and edify others. These regularly scheduled gatherings are not merely programs, but platforms for forging deeper relationships of regular discipleship and encouragement on an ongoing basis.
Men’s/Women’s Retreat: An opportunity for brothers and sisters to retreat from the rush of daily life and set-aside time to gather together for Prayer, Study, Fellowship, and Refreshment.
Men’s Fellowship: A regular meeting of men in our church for breakfast and Bible study.
Women’s Seminars: Regular meetings of women in our church to consider biblical wisdom on issues our sisters frequently face.
Church-wide Fellowship Events: Large gatherings outside of our weekly worship setting to find friendship and fellowship, particularly with an emphasis on forming discipling relationships throughout the rest of the year.
3. Meals with Members
Several families in our church have offered to host other members and visitors for “meals with members.” These are intended to be one night at a family’s home near you, in which you’ll be fed both physically and spiritually, with food and Spirit-led, Word-centered conversations. If you are interested, you can sign up online here and we’ll reach out to get you on the list.
For more information about the next opportunity to gather for any of the above and more, please email [email protected].
