Christina Rosenberger – Deaconess of Greeting Ministry
Christina grew up in Ontario, Canada, where God mercifully surrounded her with faithful teaching of His Word. While she believed what she heard about the existence and loving provision of the Triune God, she sees now that she took forgiveness in Christ for granted and that she worshipped God in word but was not truly surrendering her life to Him. After moving to Urbana, Illinois in 2010 to study cellular biology, she met her husband Matt. Challenged by Matt’s commitment to studying Scripture and by questions from her unbelieving friends, she began to study the Word more faithfully. God graciously worked His words into her heart and won her affections and sincere worship. She is so grateful for her identity in Christ and for the repentance, peace, and joy that the Spirit continues working in her heart. Matt and Christina were married in 2014 and have been blessed to be a part of DRBC since moving to Arlington in 2016. Christina enjoys fellowship, cooking, all kinds of sports and games, and being outside.

Over the years, his awareness of his own sin and thankfulness for God’s forgiveness through Christ has continued to grow. College was a particularly impactful time for Matt, when several faithful men challenged him to more consistently study God’s word, identify and confess his sin, and to apply God’s word to every area of his life. Matt feels blessed to be married to his wife, Christina. Matt enjoys playing sports and games, watching movies, cooking, music, physics, and, generally, learning about anything.
